Consulate for Spain in Almaty, Kazakhstan

As Honorary Consul of Spain based in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1998, Anne Lundin performed a special request interior design project for the renovation and installation of equipment for my Honorary Consulate office and residence.
For my Honorary Consulate office, she designed the office layout to include available high-quality local materials and imported German office equipment, to present a professional office with a fresh European style.
For my residence, she designed a complete renovation of an apartment from the exclusive centre area of Almaty. This renovation required to rip out and replace floors, walls, plumbing, all window frames, and electricity wiring from the existing poor quality Soviet-era construction.
Anne's design remodelled the apartment to have a new fresh European look using the best quality local materials, to include a completely new and refitted kitchen, toilets, bedrooms living room and 2 balconies, and using imported European furniture.
In both of the projects above, Anne showed immense dedication and perservance, in supervising the implementation of the projects, because at that time, local Kazakhstan construction crews did not perform high-quality results without her constant daily supervision and attention.
Anne also constantly went out to local construction stores to find specialized pieces to make her project as perfect as possible.
I am very happy with the results of Anne's high quality project work, which has been in use now for over 15 years as it was an excellent high-quality interior remodelling.

Anne Lundin the principal Interior Architect organized all contractors and subcontractor, prepared plans, bill of materials, schedule of works and all other documentation for easy reference to all involved. Anne also assisted in research and found the correct type and quality of furniture for the property and at great value too. Following a pre ordering period and subsequent arrival of building materials and furniture, curtains and accessories Anne proceeded to orchestrate the works in a Typical Scandinavian efficiency and accuracy akin to a military operation.
Within just 2 short weeks the works had been completed, the property totally cleaned up and polished, all furniture installed and positioned under the watchful eye of a superb and efficient Project Manager Anne Lundin!!
The handing over was superb.
